Has anyone seen the 3-piece swimsuit George at Asda are selling?

Similar to the hooded top/leggings outfit Nigella was seen in on holiday, asda are offering a 3 piece set for £25. Just cant imagine being comfortable in it, and if you were wearing it to disguise a less than perfect figure, I think you would end up attracting more attention. Would you buy one????

I certainly couldn't imagine trying to actually swim in the blessed thing, would remind me too much of doing my bronze/silver/gold swimming medals where you had to wear a pair of pyjamas to swim 50 odd lengths and then go diving for bricks, then take off the bottoms and tie a knot at the end of each leg before blowing them up to use them as a float.

Who thought of these 'tests' - must have been someone with a strange sense of humour as I have yet to see a report on the news or in the paper of someone falling into a river/stream/pool or any other body of water and being rescued clutching a brick whilst clinging onto their inflated pj bottoms. And its many a year since I had the pleasure of trawling up and down a pool in pj's to earn my medals ...............

I think the hood may be detachable.

I'd consider wearing something like that if I were going somewhere seriously hot on holiday. I burn very easily and it is too easy to miss a bit with suncream. I probably wouldn't wear the hood though.

Good lord no. Just no. I couldn't.

I'd wear that. I like swimming but hate the sun.
If I were going on holiday this year I'd get one.

Lion in the sun UV jackets, are brilliant for those of us who burn instantly, much more like a beach cover up than a rash vest, but costume fabric so you can swim in them.

Particularly good for toddler watching without burnt shoulders.

I saw lots of them whilst in Dubai. It's generally worn by muslim women for cultural reasons. In fact, I saw many different styles and colours.

It's unbelievable to think that at this age in time somebody would feel sad by seeing someone wearing a full swimming costume. Would you feel happy to see people half naked in front of small children? I have seen many women wearing this sort of swim wear and the only message it gives is the modesty. What is wrong with that?
