What do you use after a Baby bag?

I don't think I need everything in my baby bag and was looking to getting a nicer bag but can still put some of DS's things in it.
I have seen people get a children's bag and put there stuff in it but I know I will still end up holding it so I just wanted one for me and him.

A bloody lovely, but large handbag!

My DC are now 13 and 10 and I still use a big bag - but its filled with all my crap essentials now instead of theirs. Grin

I hate to say it, but a rucksack so that my hands are free.

Nice handbag for work, though!

A large canvas shopper.

Cheap as chips (^ literally in this case^), light, can stuff all sorts and goes in the washing machine!

The thicker the canvas the more weather-proof too.

And it needn't be plain either

Just bought a smallish cross body bag.

Dc's have backpacks which they will mostly carry themselves. They're 3.7 & 2 (tomorrow).

I need hands free for handholding or carrying as dd has decided despite the fact that she can't be bothered to walk most of the time the buggy is for wimps

an assortment of large handbags, anything from a cath kidston messenger to a mulberry Effie hobo.

I have purses/makeup bag type zip up pockets that hold different things that I just transfer, so one with makeup/hairbrush, one with sanpro, one with travel pack wipes, hand gel spare pants in. I used to have a travel change mat and wet bag but my youngest is three and half now so no longer need nappies or change mat but like this www.mothercare.com/Summer-Infant-Changeaway---Black/326559,default,pd.html skip hop do a better one as well.

I hated using nappy bags as they are either unstylish, cost a bomb for a real leather one or cutsey designs like those pink lining ones, so often used a large normal handbag and chucked everything in anyway

A big, leather, cross-body bag.

A Mulberry cross body (Mitzy) with a couple of zippy pouches inside - one for change stuff including a disposable change mat, one for drink/snacks. I wouldn't get a dedicated change bag again. I think it encourages people to carry all sorts of crap around 'just in case'.
