What mascara do those with incredibly sensitive eyes (rosacea) get on with?

I am having a hard time finding something since the brand I use was reformulated. I need a non-waterproof one that can be removed with non-oily remover. I don't know where to look next and I have such fair lashes! Oddly, too, with mascara I can tolerate my eyes feel so much less painful.
Any sensitive-peepered ladies here...can you share what you use? I don't care what it costs...just as long as I can find one I can use. Thanks.

I use a lancome one for sensitive eyes (have chronic dry eyes, have to use eyedrops all day every day to keep em lubricated), I find it good. I don't put it on down to the base of my lashes iykwim. I tolerate it longer and better then.

You could get them dyed? I did that once but didn't like the look. Might work for you though. My lashes are v feathery.

i have sensitive eyes and gave up with mascara so now just dye them myself at home. my lashes are long but fair, so dyeing them black really makes a difference, i do it once every 8-10 weeks.

I would say DONT wear Clinique or Dior. I love these brands, but their mascaras crumble and flake like crazy.
A few years ago I had a friend who had rosacea and she swore by tube-its, I think it was called?
I love the Benefit 'they're real' mascara, I've found it doesn't flake, but I'm not sure how it would be for sensitive eyes, sorry. Maybe find a department store with a benefit counter and ask them?

Good luck!

La Roche-Posay make good mascaras for sensitive eyes. www.laroche-posay.com/products-treatments/Respectissime/Sensitive-Eyes-r50.aspx

I've also been very happy with Cliniques mascaras, they don't flake or crumble on me.
I absolutely love Guerlains le 2 mascaras, but I actually don't know if it would be good for sensitive eyes - personally, I don't have any problems with it.

Dior and Chanel tend to have loads of perfume in - I can't use them because of that.

I've always been told that black mascaras tend to irritate more due to some ingredient (might be nickel, but not sure) that isn't in the brown/blue/green/purple mascaras. No clue if that is something that would irritate your eyes, but still worth mentioning.

Oh, and remember to change the mascara often because of bacteria and risk of eye infections. People say to replace it every 3-6 months.

This one from Clinique. I've tried a couple of their others and they dry in the tube too quickly, but this one is great. No more sore eyes or broken off eye-lashes from pulling and rubbing at them Smile.
