Ascot help!

I've been invited to Ascot next week and need an outfit. I've got no waist to speak of and very conscious of my tummy area! I tend to wear greens and blues but open to any suggestions! Budget as low as possible really.

Any help would be great!

Which enclosure are you in?

Thank you! Will look at those options now. I'm just in the Grandstand.

The mint lace one is lovely.

OP don't forget to consider your coat / jacket. In my experience if the weather is not on your side (and let's be honest it might not be as summery as we hope), your dress may not see the light of day.

The last time I was at Ascot, I didn't remove my coat all day.

If you already have a nice coat, this could be good news Grin.

All those dresses are good. Remember Ascot is more about the hat than the dress. I tend to go with fairly plain-ish dresses but with a memorable (in a good way!) hat. Echo whopays sentiment - coat very important, as are comfortable shoes, it's a long day and you don't want your overriding memory to be how cold/uncomfortable you were. Hope you enjoy your day - I look forward to my days at Ascot, they're just about the highlight of my calendar.

I'd recommend wedges rather than heels as you'll find it easier to walk and if its been raining it can be very muddy.
