Wimbledon - what to wear

Long time lurker here in need of some style help please. I have tickets to the men's final at Wimbledon! Very lucky and very exciting but not a clue what to wear. If I was going on any other day, I would dress for comfort but feel the need to dress up for the occasion - also eating in restaurant off centre court beforehand. I am 5'4" slim-ish size 8-10, I struggle in high shoes as have size 3.5-4 feet but could probably manage wedges. So what shall I wear?!

Dress for comfort and to avoid sunburn.

Ooh how exciting! How about a reasonably smart fitted dress in a light fabric with nude wedges? Something like the Abigail dress from jigsaw

Well I would like to dress for comfort but suspect everyone else will be glammed up. Altho my version of glam is probably not very glam!
Kitty - I really like that dress and but I have fat knees so not sure. I may pop into Jigsaw and try it on. Would love to wear something like that. Think I may need to have 2 outfits ready - one for sunny & warm, one for rain and not so warm!

No one is glammed up, I've been lots.

The top half is the bit seen on camera so sunglasses/scarf/nice hairdo all good.

It gets really cold sitting down during long matches, particularly if you're not on the 'sunny' side or are covered by stands - even if its 26 degrees you still will be more comfy with a blanket/pashmina for your knees. You also need sunscreen and a straw hat in case you are in continual sun.

I always wear leggings/jersey dress and neat wedges or flats - that way you don't get sweaty legs sitting in the seats

Lucky you.

Yes dress for comfort. The only super glams are the model girlfriends of the tennis players. I would go for a sporty chic look with lots of layers, perhaps silky summer trousers, a silky tank and layers, a wedge heel nice sunglasses and hair.

It can be surprisingly cold in that stand, even on a sunny day.
