Moisturiser for very dry, eczema prone face

I recently bought Bobbi Brown moisture balm as a treat for myself for my birthday and it is the only moisturiser that is thick enough for my extremely dry skin (more like Vaseline than a cream). I can't afford to keep up this new habit and was wondering if anyone else has found an alternative?

Avene Tolerance Extreme is fantastic. I have dry skin with eczema flare-ups & I swear by this.

Eucerin Q10 is amazing.

I find Aveeno Is great - it's called something like Extra Moisturising or Intense moisturiser.

Housewife2010 thank you for recommending the avene cream, I bought some yesterday and my horrible pregnancy hormone ravaged skin feels so much better already!

La Roche Posay Ciciplast.

Thanks all, I went to boots yesterday and bought a selection of those suggested and I'm going to try each one for 3 weeks. I've started on the eucerin face cream for very dry skin with 5 % urea and it is fantastic. I didn't think it would be thick enough but it works so far! Thanks for the advice

I second La Roche Posay Cicaplast baume. It's the only thing I've tried that clears up eczema, and is generally healing and soothing.

I know this sounds disgusting, but the cream/balm I had for cracked nips while BF works a treat on eczema/dry skin/flaky patches. I have crap skin and it's sooo good. Lanisoh I htink it's called.

I also had Aveeno Oatmeal cream prescribed for DS when he was covered in milk spots. I used it everyday and still do!
Good luck x

Cicaplast did nowt for me, it just felt like a layer of silicone suffocating my skin not moisturising at all.
