ballet flats for wide but not really wide feet?

Help. I have wide feet but not wide enough for evans or plus size footwear. I have size 8 feet (am 5'9 size14) I find most high street ones pinch after an hour or so and wide ones I brought from evans were too wide and fall off.

Are there any brands that come up a bit wider? Boden, top shop, dune and office oh and matalan have all been too tight.

I searched everywhere for a comfy pair of ballet pumps for the same reason - and finally found a pair in Primark of all places!!! They are their 'sole desire' ones, and are ridiculously comfy on me.

New Looks wide fit are not actually that big. I have slightly wider than average feet and find them comfortable and that they don't fall off. primark is also a good shout

Boden are good for wider than average. I ordered 2 pairs for comparison and ended up keeping them both Smile

The metallic are slightly more snug than the regular colours but not uncomfortably so.

ellangirl · 02/06/2013 17:02

Ujjayi are the boden ones low cut in a toe-cleavagey way?

Allthingspretty · 02/06/2013 17:24

M and s
Clarks

Primark for me too! I've stuck to the suede and leather uppers so they can stretch a bit. Had almost given up on finding ones that fit my stupidly shaped feet when I found them and now have 3 pairs, very comfy.

daisydoodoo · 03/06/2013 10:29

i thought primark would be narrow, so thanks. I will check them out at the weekend.
WIll order this seasons boden ones and give them a try too, and also look in m&s, new look and clarks.
The problem is they seem ok in the shop and feel wide enough but after a while my little toe feels crushed.
thanks.

I've got small but podgy feet - not wide enough for wide fittings but normal fit cut the circulation off!

I've found Hush Puppies the best. They need wearing in but it only takes a couple of days and then they're like slippers!

I'm currently wearing Janessa which are a bit pricey but I get 2+ years out of them, including walking 4 miles most days!

Oops double post, sorry!

daisydoodoo · 03/06/2013 15:59

Thanks. The more suggestions the better. I picked up a pair of black ones in m&s today. The woman in store said to get wide fit but half size smaller. I got the 7 1/2 and plenty of length in them. If they are ok they do lots more colours.

cheap Hushpuppies here Sold out in your size OP, sadly, but a real bargain if you are slightly wider footed and size 7 or less. I have not been able to wear this style before, but these are very comfortable and look great.

Yes, my feet are on the wide side and I find Boden ballet flats comfortable. Also Hobbs and Geox. And have a pair of Pretty Ballerinas which are a good fit, but were ££.
