Just picked up a Lacura factor 10 oil(smells divine), factor 15 lotion and factor 30 lotion for the princely sum of around 10 euros.......so what do we think of them? Anybody tried them before?? I bought them for myself, dont think I would use them on kids or should I? I will use these here on me though have to use roche posay 50 on my pigmented visage! Going abroad in July and there are Lidl and Aldi allover Spain and am wondering if I should use them when I am over there rather than spending millions on Avene, Nivea and Biotherm(which is what I usually do when I am in Spain!).

I've used them on myself with no probs.
Factor 30 for short blasts of sun we get here is fine!
On holiday Use once a day on kids and top up with high factor so can't comment on dc sorry.
Should be fine if they are high star rated?

amazing stuff. non sticky and no horrible smell. only sunscreen my ds hasn't come out in a rash with :-)

I use the factor 50 aldi sun cream on my two. DS is a red head with verypale skin. It's great - no burning and no rashes so far (that's in this Country though - not actual hot sun Wink)

it's great stuff. ds who burns uses the factor 50

Why would it be sub-standard just because its from Aldi? They all have to conform to regulations. I have just used for a week in Corfu on the whole family, I wasn't mad on the smell of the factor 50 but that's my only complaint.

I have no hard facts but often discounters like Aldi and Lidl have some of the market leaders produce their private label stuff. I wouldn't be amazed if Beiersdorf (home of Nivea and Eucerin) was involved. I mean, a small no-name operation couldn't necessarily come up with their highly rated stuff, but industry gigants like L'Oreal and Beiersdorf could easily want to cover this market too.

Frugal you are right. I read on the internet somewhere that bieresdorf was producing products for aldi under aldis own branding
