Clear strap bra 30 AA nude/white, where can I buy?

My 12, nearly 13 year old daughter regularly does dance competitions and shows and she is allowed to wear a bra as long as it has clear straps and sometimes clear back. I am looking for one in size 30AA but the clear back isn't essential. It needs to be either skin/nude coloured or white. I have until end of June at the latest, so please give me ideas where to look for clear strap bras, size 30AA. Thanks(:

M&S, but it's worth paying for a cape zip one from dance direct.

Aaaargh! Capezio

A 30AA means she measures 30 inches under the bust and 30 inches over the bust, is that right?

MrsLettuce · 30/05/2013 20:21

Sorry, that should say

A 30AA would mean she measures 30 inches under the bust and 30 inches over the bust, is that right?

I thought it was something like 25 inch under the bust and 30 over the bust. Cause if it was 30 under the bust and 30 over the bust, then there would be no bust, if you get what I mean :D

Being an AA cup does, literally mean no bust! Same measurement under as over.

an A cup is one inch difference between under bust and over bust, B cup is 2 inches difference, a C cup 3 inches difference, a D cup 4inches difference , DD cup 5 inches difference, E cup, well, you get the picture Smile

(25 under and 30 over would be in the region of 24E / 26DD - not that those band sizes are easily found!)

It really would be good to get her fitted properly, yourself as well.

Dancing, many many retailers are still producing size charts that match up to an old fashioned fitting system. That goes back to before we had proper lycra!

To get the right bra now the method is as Mrs Lettuce describes. The closest you are going to be able to buy in store for your DD will probably be a 28B/C. If you can find one of these where the cup fits then it is very simple to take the back in to fit.

When she says fitted well, she does not mean: M&S, La Senza, Boux Avenue, BHS, Ann Summers, SImplyBe, Mothercare, most house of frasers, many debenhams......it's a long list. John Lewis may be the best bet for your DD actually (at the moment I don't think Bravissimo would work but she will be a bravissimo girl very soon I would guess!)
