i have got myself stuck in a rut of lazyness since having ds2. life threw a few curveballs at us and we ended up living in a really grotty flat, had no money whatsoever and i sort of let myself go - bad hair, no make up, ancient clothes, hair in places it shouldnt be!
life is now fun and good again and ive decided i really must sort myself out. i am keeping up with epilating etc, wearing make up and doing hair each day, making sure i do one 'beauty' thing a day e.g pumice feet in shower, or face scrub, and being strict on ctm and moisturising feet at night. what else can i do quickly and easily to make me feel better and try and look good? i am a sahm now, but dont want to always look a scruff.

glad you are back on an even keel.
so, hair and make up sorted.
oil cuticles and apply handcream regularly if no time to manicure/ paint.have a good sort out of clothes, shoes, accessories.
sizes/ do you still like them/are they too shabby/worn out?
check your undie drawer-chuck any past-it stuff.
iron all your clothes, hang on proper hangers, check if any need repairing in any way.
crikey, i need to do all this too :)

So glad that things are better for you now - how about:

eyebrow shaping
intensive hair treatment once a week
body brushing in the shower

This sort of stuff makes me feel good too

Glad things are on the up for you. I'd reccomend getting an exfoliator glove for the shower as its quick and can just use shower gel. I've started washing my hair at night so I don't have an 'oh I'll just shove it up' morning

Chuck, chuck, chuck. Esp if you've moved house recently. I was so happy after I gave about 2/3 of my wardrobe to Oxfam. You can see the stuff you like, you feel as though your whole wardrobe is brilliant because it is only the stuff you like, you really can survive on a few pairs of trousers and tops, wear all those things that are just hanging in the cupboard waiting for what? Best thing I've done in ages.

have your eyebrows shaped and then keep them trim yourself. Fill gaps with a pencil and brush it so it doesn't show. Even get the dye and do them if you feel confident. Defined brows work wonders.
Keep your nails nice. You don't have to have extensions and gel and stuff, just tidy your cuticles, rub almond oil in twice a day, keep them filed and wear a neutral polish to protect them.
Same with feet. I see you pumice them, which is fab. Make sure your nails are tidy. A good nail cut and file, basecoat, two coats of polish and a topcoat will last at least three weeks. You need those layers to even out the nail and look glossy and professional. I do the first three in the evening and topcoat the next morning, then they have time to 'cure' in between and harden properly. Make sure you paint over the end of the nail. Mine last ages and never chip, I have to re-do them because the nails grow!

i have been trying to keep nails nice - had a thread a while ago asking for nail varnish suggestions for a nice long lasting everyday neutral colour. not found perfect one yet! bought poor choice of essie shade and love love love mabelline gel look polish but not quite right for fingers! yep have also started to iron again - urg. never had eyebrows done professionally but they are huge hairy beetly things desperate to meet in thw middle so maybe i will treat myself and try that. if i havent sent us back to financial ruin with my new nail varnish obsession that is
