BRA stylee ladies please!

Thank you bra ladies who sorted me out in sizing my bra on another thread!

I've got a question, if anyone knows, what style is best for someone who has big, rather floppy (and sad), wide spaced, high on the chest 32HHs. I'm 5'3' and have a short torso, and narrow shoulders.

I have tried balconette and full cup, but the wires are literally jabbing up into my armpit, and digging in to my breastbone in the middle. Straps tend to fall off my shoulders!

Plunge seems to push me forward and jam my norks together, which isn't comfy either?

Minimiser bras hurt as they squash and pull down the breast.

Sports bras just squash and I can rest my chin on them.

Any bra with a massive elastic underband bit, digs in and leaves a huge red mark across my tummy, even with a 34 band.
If there's too much elastane/ nylon mesh/ lace I get itchy! Best with cotton/ silk.

Sorry for the essay, but I'm desperate for a bra that's comfy, now that I know what size I am. Anyone have any ideas on a style for me?

Thanks ladies! Flowers

Well it's no surprise really that I've no replies, as its a goldilocks quest isn't it.

The thing is that all bras which have the cup size I need, have huge wires which poke me in the armpits, and / or dig into my breast bone at the front. See I have a small rib age, but large norks, and the wire goes out too far and sticks up.

So what I'm looking for I suppose is a bra which lifts and keeps norks forward facing, but that doesn't have it's own magnetic field with the amount of wires!

Is plunge, or balcony my only option, or does anyone know of a bra which has half wires, going up only half way in the cup and then some kind of semi rigid stuff on the sides to prevent spillage?
Or haven't these been invented/ designed yet?!

Please don't tell me I have to wear a Doreen?!

TIA

Oh dead poor you.

I no expert but the satine bra from bravissimo is excellent for the short of body and gets recs from the bra crowd. I wore it throughout pregnancy when I ended up a GG Cup.

sorry I missed this post!

any chance you can list some of the specific bras you have tried and what was wrong? my boobs are close set in the centre but other than that they sound similar so I can hopefully suggest a few if I have a wee bit more info

When I first went to my 38g from a 48c it took a couple of weeks to get used to my boobs being so perky, go back and try the plunge again but wear for a week or so to get used to our boobs being where they should be!

What about a non-wired one like this Deco?

VenusUprising · 02/06/2013 00:06

Oh hurray!
I was wondering if I was in Coventry, or something.

Basically I have a short torso, and massive high norks, they point outward, and are increasingly flat....
Very sad indeed, and they used to be smaller and perky.
Basically all the bra styles in a HH have massive wires which literally sit in my armpit and poke me to death, and also as my rib cage is small, they don't bend round, but stick out, and also stick into my breast bone.

I'm quite comfy in a 34g wire size but it's too small in the cup and too big in the band- tied on the tightest hook.

So, I'm wondering if there is a half wire bra out there for petite big norked gals like me, who don't want their norks shoved together and out in front like a plunge, but want them held up and pointing straight ahead!

I've tried Cleo by panache, and they stick into my armpits like hell, I've tried figleaves Sophina, and they're ok, but the cup size is too small if they're comfy under my arms.

Fantasie is fine in a full cup style, but with a large back, so not much uplift, or support if the wires aren't playing merry hell in my armpits.

Do you think a half cup would be a good bet? Would there be much support for a HH? Or would the shoulders be too wide - I have narrow shoulders. Would I have to get the straps sewn on in a different place?

Thanks so much! I'm forever grateful for any suggestions.

Try bravissimo darling heart or bravissimo laurel
Both much lower cut on wires
Panache elsa is lower too
