Good products for dehydrated hair (lacking moisture)

I've decided that I have dehydrated hair, not dry hair. i have used all manner of oils on my hair and it has really not made any difference. My hair holds onto water like its life depends on it, and goes into gorgeous spiral curls when soaking wet. I have to apply my styling products to it when it's soaking wet too -if I towel dry it starts to frizz instantly.

I currently use Tresemme Natural conditioner as a leave-in, Boots Curl Creme and a gel on top. I practically never blow dry or use straightners, only when at hairdressers every 2 months or so. Anyone got other ideas for how to help parched hair retain moisture?

Thanks Smile

Argan or Moroccan oil

Moroccan oil is full of silicone which is not a good idea for my hair. Haven't tried argan oil but have tried coconut, olive and almond oils and none made any difference. I need a way to lock as much water in as possible.

Ok thanks CSW, may use it as a leave-in rather than a rinse-out. Will give it a go

Philip Kingley Elasticizer. Expensive, but well worth it. It's a mask used before you shampoo. It makes a huge difference to my hair.

I also have curly hair and swear by Aussie products. I also have some oil from aldi which contains Argan oil. it was cheap as chips and makes my hair feel lively

Aussie Take The Heat has been as good for my hair as any premium products Ive tried. Detangled too, and smells yummy.
