THe Lady Lucie dress wins hands down IMO, if you can afford it definitely go with one of the pieces. The quality is bound to be much nicer.

No, you won't at all. That style of dress is extremely flattering on a fuller figure here, here and here. The shape and the petticoat maximise curves really nicely.

OP, go to Honour on Lower Marsh behind Waterloo station. The staff in there are very nice and you can try it all on.

Ah, right. That's from Lady Vintage, they do a 20 in the regular range and the plus size range. Great dresses. Do need a petticoat though.
