Nice work tops please

I'm in desperate need of some decent, plain work tops.

Must be long sleeved (or 3/4) and suitable for with or without a jacket.

I just despair when I open my wardrobes - lots of nice trousers, skirts, jackets and dresses but I just struggle with tops! I'm a tall and busty-ish 14/16.

TIA :)

Oh, I wash my silk ones. They seem fine.

I wear jersey under jackets - generally the Hobbs cowl necked tops. I look hideous in shirts and silk tops are getting harder and harder to buy/afford. The cowl necks are smarter than a t-shirt but flattering on norks.

Lands End are doing 20% off this week if you put SPRING20 code in - have loads of tops in the Outlet section - hard to wear out and cheap when on sale!

Shirts are my new passion

Also watching with interest . M&S used to be the place for basic 3/4 sleeve work tops, in the good old days before Per Una. I am going to whisper , however , that I have had a few successes in < sainsburys> .

strangely the nicest shirts I've seen lately are by Rohan

They are 'technical' shirt and the fabric (of the checked ones I saw/felt) was light but with substance, stretch but didn't look it - quite amazing. I could wear them to work and looking online they have different fabrics to the ones I saw instore.
