Who has been shopping for spring/summer clothes for kids?

What shops/chains have good spring/summer clothes this season for children?

What do the collections look like at H&M? Zara? Gap? Others?

Or should I knock it on the head and shop online or via catalogues?

Anyone seen any especially cute children's swimming costumes?

Any awful tacky disaster collections that should be avoided at all costs?

ds is fortuate enough to have a birthday in April which means he always gets some shorts and t-shrts then. He's just turned 3 and I'm delighted that most of his t-shirts and all his shorts from last summer still fit.

He got a lovely summer jacket and a rain jacket for his birthday too, so apart from sandals I think he's covered. Was on the lookout for a body warmer, but haven't found one yet. The Zara ones seem to go from age 2-3 (too small) to age 4-5 (enormous).

Just got some stuff from catalouge 'La Redoute' today.... first time I have used them.
