I'm just getting into lipsticks now I know what shades work on me and have seen a couple of Chanel ones I like...but they are £££.

Ogoogle thanks for the tips! Can you tell me a bit about how those foundations wear - in addition to the pale tone I'm looking for long wearing time without need to touch up (this is where the Chanels fail - 5-6 hours is just not practical) and transfer resistance and medium coverage (I don't get the point of very sheer light coverage foundations)

Bourjois and Nars unfortunately not readily avaible where I live, have had to buy blind - not great Sad

No problem about the hijack Frugal - hijack away! But I have never found that I need to touch up my foundation during the day (probably because I have very dry skin) so I can't be much help with the wear time, sorry. The Nars sheer glow is definitely medium coverage rather than sheer, despite its name. The Givenchy is very sheer and light so I don't think you'd like it. I like light coverage ones because they tend to be more moisturising and I just want my skintone evening out.

Oh my other favourite pale one, which is neutral rather than pink, is Giorgio Armani Face Fabric in 02. Light to medium, buildable coverage and the texture is so so smooth and lovely.

And I've never tried the YSL ones, just read about them. I have, however, tried Chantecaille foundations and they do some great pale shades but be prepared to spend £££££££££. Future Skin in Ivory is my favourite. I just found this helpful Chantecaille foundation chooser if you're interested :)

Ogoogle I thought it would be too peach for me too as I'm a very pink person, but I was pleasantly surprised. I usually go for very pink shades but its a nice change.

I bought 2 a velvet one and another one cannot reember what it was called but deffo not impressed for the money. Hated the formulas and they did not last on me. Lippies normally last. Gimme Revlon or Dior anyday!! Even Rimmel come to that....
