Looking for a hairdryer and curling tongs for my DD (11yo)

She can't borrow mine, not because I'm a mean non-sharing mother, I don't own them. I've got straighteners but no drier.

So...
she's 11 soon and I know she's been hankering after tongs & dryer. She's got long straight hair (bra strap length) that she wants to have some long layers put in.

I'm not looking for cheapy cheap ones (but neither am I after GHDs or Yogi) . Something basic, smallish (for her to handle though I'll help her at first).

Any good ones to look out for?
Boots?
Amazon?
Tescos?

Boots did have some good smaller size ones in that would be suitable for a younger girl. Would link if I could remember them exactly but have a browse on the website, I'm sure you'll find something

Parlux do a tiny compact dryer, it's not cheap but at cost per use over the next 10 years would work out cheaper than re-placing cheaper dryers.

I have a £15 frizz control dryer from nicky Clarke. It's rubbish. I hate it and I'm saving up my topcashback credits until I can get a parlux.

So, that's my top tip. Avoid Nicky Clarke dryers

I've always viewed "Things With A Celebrity Name On Them" should be avoided.

I'll take DD out to look- I need to see how she can handle them then I'll take it from there.
