Hello
Right, some background: I had my hair platinum blonde (pretty much white) for about 4 years. I always had the colour and toner done at the hairdressers for all of this time.
A few weeks ago I had a dark brown dye put on as my hairdresser was worried about what more bleaching would to my, frankly knackered, hair.
Now the colour's faded to a nice warm light brown with blonde flecks. While I'm happy with the colour ATM, I'm aware it'll fade more and I'm looking into dying it again.
Now: Superdrug are doing 3 for 1 on their own brand hair dye and I'm toying with the idea of getting some and trying it out. I've never dyed my hair at home before so I'm a bit apprehensive as I have no idea what I'm doing and I have no idea what the colour will come out like given the platinum colour that I had it for ages.
This is the link to the product that's on offer:

As you can see, it's got very good reviews but they all seem to come from experienced home dyers!
Any help or advice you can give me on making the leap into home dying is very very much appreciated.
Thanks
P.S. Sorry if I sound like a massive wimp!
