Have always had puffiness under my eyes, but it now seems to have reached epic proportions, along with lovely dark shadows. I am sleeping ok, but am under alot of stress at the mo.

Please give me your beauty tips, I'm desperate!

I'm exactly the same, bags and terrible puffiness. Didn't know if it was down to not drinking enough

Hoping someone can offer some advice

Tear trough fillers give a fantastic result, if you are prepared to go down the filler route. I had them done last year and couldn't believe the difference. I think I had tried almost every product on the market before then, plus cucumber on my eyes, teabags ..............

Agatha, how much did the procedure cost and did it hurt alot?

It didn't hurt at all. They use anaesthetic cream and the method I had was to insert the filler with a cannula, so it is just one injection site rather than lots. You can feel something is happening, but it isn't painful. I had a couple of very small bruises for a few days, but they were easily covered with make-up.

It cost £400 and lasts for between 6 - 12 months, although they hope for 12 months. I had it done at Tracy Mountford's clinic in London, just because I was quite nervous of the whole thing and she had really good reviews, although it was a nurse at the clinic that did it, so it was a bit cheaper. I have read that subsequent treatments last longer than the initial one.

Quick fix is pile cream - just shrinks them a bit and pulls them in!

jackstini - I think that works if they are genuinely eye bags, but I think that lots of people who think they have eye bags, actually have empty tear troughs (the fat pocket below the eye has gone) and that gives the impression of bags but isn't really. The fillers work really well in those cases. I used to try the pile cream and wonder why it didn't give me the results other people claimed to get.
