Waterproof Uggs (or other sheepskin boots!)

Hello please help me! I live in Ireland and my normal Uggs just aren't cutting it in the rain, they are also wrecked so I have decided to upgrade!

I have tried on the Ugg Noira but apart from being very stiff to get on, my foot moves slightly inside and the fit isn't anywhere as good as a normal ugg and for ?300 I want them to be perfect!

Can you recommend a pair of waterproof Uggs or similar? I get very cold feet and chillblains so they need to be lined all the way to the toes, not just on the ankle and leg part of the boot.

Also, the range of Uggs seems to be ltd at the moment - do they launch new boots each Autumn? Should I hang on?

Thanks!

Oh and I will probably be buying them online as Ireland doesn't really have a huge stock!

The Gershwin model is meant to be waterproof here.

Timberland also do a waterproof boot here.

They don't look like the usual Ugg boots though.

I've got the 'Etta' waterproof Uggs. They are excellent and look great even after walking through deep snow and puddles. I got mine from John lewis.

I have noiras . They do give a lot . I'm an ugg wearer and it is a different experience to normal uggs but worth it. I have worn my every day since I bought them in September . No cold feet .

Celtic sheepskin aqualamb are what you need

Thanks so much everyone!

I like the etta and had found the selia which is the short version.

Annoyingly a lot of the boots seem to be discontinued but I am going to have a go looking for these this afternoon!

Bisbos - did you find that although the noira was hard to get on, your heel still lifted slightly when you walked? My original uggs always held the foot well - maybe I need to try them on again...

Timberland winter boots are great. So warm and cosy. They don't last very long though I bought a pair in October and they are worn out already

bishboschone · 18/03/2013 16:18

Yes I did a bit but the girl in the shop told me they come up small and to buy a size bigger . I ignored and bought my usual size . The fluff flattens and now they are perfect. Order from schuh online it's free delivery and you can try in your house . I ordered both sizes and walked around until I was sure . Thy have a great returns policy and fantastic customer service .

Those Celtic ones look nice !

actiongirl1978 · 18/03/2013 17:03

Thanks Bishbos! I was going to get them from Schuh as I can get to a shop, that is a good idea to try at home, usually I don't bother too much as I am really ltd to internet shopping, simply because they don't have the selection in Ireland so I buy from the UK a lot.

The celt ones do look nice - I have some calf length celts and although they are warm, they are a bit bouncy when I walk, they never felt very substantial, mind you they machine wash brilliantly!

Noisy - I am going to look at the timberlands too!
