Make up advice

Hello,

Since having kids I seem to have become very sensitive to make up. No matter how much or little i put on, my eyes water, my nose gushes and I get headaches. I now don't wear any at all, as its just not worth it. I recently bought clinique mascara, foundation and eyeliner as it is meant to be hypo-allergenic. Still the same. Especially as I will be getting married in the next year, I cannot be a bride with no make up on lol

Has anyone had the same symptoms as me or can any of you lovely ladies point me in the right direction of what to do next?

Jax

My mum became allergic to eye make up a couple of years ago and sadly it seems I'm going the same way as I've recently reacted to MUA's felt eyeliner and Clinique makeup remover (think swollen, weeping eyelids - it was horrendous and has actually scarred my eyelids).

Mum only wears Sensiq eyeshadow. Might be worth a try, it's £2 with free postage on eBay.

She also finds Bourjois mascara is fine for her to use. She doesn't have any issues with foundation, but maybe you could try a mineral powder like Lily Lolo rather than a cream foundation?

BTW, you can get sample sizes of Lily Lolo for a few pounds, just to test to see if you react to it.

ok thanks very much. I will look into those brands.
