Derma Flannel advice please

I've used it three times now, every other day.
My skin does look smoother, not an amazing difference, but ok. I'm getting the breakouts in my 'spot-zones' now - jaw line, t-zone, chin.

My skin is normally combi-greasy so I've been using the La Roche Posay face wash which has helped a lot, and a Vichy moisturiser for greasy skin but I've noticed that my skin seems to be producing excess sebum since using the flannel and it's not helping the break-out at all.

Help! I'd appreciate any advice.

I would try reducing your use first. If the cloth is exfoiliating then I would only do that once or twice a week if skin is oily it may be encouraging it to produce more? I dont know how accurate this is though.

BUMP

Thanks Chocolatespiders. I appreciate your advice.

Flannel cost me enough! I want to get it right.

Well I had a bad reaction to using it. Opposite to you, insofar as I developed patches of dry, scaly skin on my chin mainly but I decided to push on through (!) and 2 weeks later, my skin looks a whole heap better than it has in a long time. Not sure if that's helpful or not but it's what I did.

Charliefox how often are you using it?

Snog · 19/03/2013 20:24

Mine has just arrived but I can't see any instruction with it - do I use it wet on a clean face, very gently and 3 times a week?

Charliefox · 19/03/2013 21:29

Every other day.

I used mine whilst having a hot shower so that my skin was easier to scrub. I wet the flannel. Worked a treat.

Hmm I wonder whether I need to change my moisturiser then?
