By the hairs on my chinny chin chin....

I have chin hair- blonde but a bit on the coarse side. Up to now I've been plucking but they seem to be increasing & I'm having to pluck more often. Any hair removal solutions? I don't react well to waxing & come out in a rash & haven't got lots of money to spend on salon techniques....suggestions welcome!

Veet? Think I'd just pluck tbh.

epilate the little brutes. Less painful than other methods, fast. Or threading if you don't like DIY.

I've got one of those JML wonder wand things for mine.

Just do it when I need to.

I have this problem too! I'm wondering about waxing but will it make them come in all coarse? I think the plucking has caused this problem in the first place. Bloody hate plucking

PenelopePisstop · 17/03/2013 18:13

Waxing works for me, they don 't grow back coarse. Recently tried hair removal creme -can't remember which one, it worked fine but it din 't last as long as waxing.

Waxing is so bloody pricey, lip and chin takes a few minutes and it' nearly £30! Need something though otherwise I will Be in circus as bearded lady. Not pleasant.

Go for threading....it's cheap (i had brows and chin done and it was £8) and it was really really good. They won't grow back coarse at all.

I do plucking. Have more bristles than a yard brush

Drywhiteplease · 17/03/2013 19:10

Tweetermanns.....the best investment ever!

Plinkityplonk · 18/03/2013 07:03

Thank you I might give threading a try, I can't wax or use creams as I come out in a rash & I want something that lasts longer then plucking as I seem to be plucking one or two every other day.

I've just bought a spring hair remover thingy from Amazon and it arrived from Hong Kong in only 10 days for £1.95 free shipping.

I've had a quick go and it definitely works. Bit eye watering but does the trick. Cheaper than anything else I've ever tried.

Plinkityplonk · 20/03/2013 14:59

Thanks kiwigirl may invest in one.

Have a look on YouTube at tutorials for threading. I get a few man bristley ones that are dark and have taught myself to thread just for those. Don't touch my own eyebrows tho. Find it gets all the hairs in one hit even the downy ones and is easier and not such a sustained pain as doing each one. Much easier than it first looks
