The ultimate cure for fine hair? Please?!

Right wise ladies. I was about to buy a babyliss big hair to solve all my sad fine hair problems but then googled and saw lots of negative feedback. So...what would be the best hairstyles to buy? And what are the best hair products?!
I currently use a standard hair dryer, some volume creating moose and a volume shampoo. It's ok, but as I don't have straighteners it ends up all flicky and a bit frizzy albeit volume boosted. I have shoulder length fine hair with a slight wave in. I don't have much spare time and am crap at hairstyling generally. Please help me :))

I have fine hair, shorter than yours and I use a Babyliss Big Hair. I have found it works for me.

I use body boosting shampoos, conditioners and styling products. I use hair oil to which gives a shine and gets rid of the frizzies.

I am useless at styling too (but the Babyliss styles for you Smile ). I can't manage a brush and hair dryer.........

I'm no good at doing eyeliner/smoky eyes either......but that is a whole new thread.......

Does the hair oil not weigh your hair down? I e always wondered...I never know what order I should use all the different styling products in so just stick with moose and suspect I'm missing a trick...so if anyone can advice on that too?!
Don't get me started on smoky eyes, I've always wanted them!! I wish I was one of those people that could make themselves look pretty :/

I have your hair OP and I found the babyliss big hair totally useless. The barrel was too big to get volume at the roots and it made the ends fly away

I use Bed Head small talk Thickening Lotion ( bought from hairdressers) It's fantastic and you only need one pump's worth rubbed between your hands. Smooth through hair and style. I use a BBH and Velcro rollers which I leave in my hair as long as possible. The thickening lotion is not cheap around £15 but lasts for ages.

I use bed head small talk and a babyliss big hair too and find them fab

They sell bed head products on amazon much cheaper than in the hairdressers

Another vote for bed head Smsll Talk

Small Talk obv. Am also now using Phyto 7 Moisturising hair cream, I think I may have chanced on hair utopia.

I use charles worthington shampoo & conditioner, Freida thickening spray. I also have highlights and have found them the best for thickening my hair - I think its the colouring, but worth thinking about if you have the ££ and fancy a little change!

Have your hair coloured to make it less fine and get the smaller barrel bighair
