My skin at the moment is horrendous. Over the last few weeks I have had a mass breakout which I think is down to a combination of period/stress relating to a job change/attempting the OCM. I look like a teenager with those (TMI) type of spots that are shiny and below the skin yet visible with no head.

Ant advice on products/routine would be greatly appreciated! I don't want to start a new job in 2 days feeling even more self conscious about my skin.

TIA :)

Oh yes, I know them well. I bought just about everything in the Clean and Clear range and it has made a huge difference, I think especially swapping the usual moisturiser for the oil free one. La Roche Posay also highly recommended but I'd already bought the C&C stuff when I read about that! I also stopped wearing foundation, even though I desperately wanted to cover them up with as much slap as possible.

Hope you see some improvement soon.

Thanks. I'll have a look at some stuff shortly. I just wish they weren't there for so long, persistent buggers!

Toothpaste on the big ones overnight really works!

FrameyMcFrame · 16/03/2013 14:34

Google aspirin face mask.

Or try the oil cleansing method.

Ooh thanks Jump! I was trying Sudocrem but it wasn't helping. Then contemplated anusol! Will give it a go.

I had been doing oil cleansing but it seems to make it worse. Confused I wonder if I'm doing it right; I moisturise after.

Origins 'on the spot' for the big ones! Dermalogica special cleansing gel/ active moist massively sorted my skin.

LittleIllusionMachine · 16/03/2013 15:52

Don't use toothpaste! I tried it for the first time this week and am left with a huge red sore patch on my cheek where it has practically burnt my skin off!

valiumredhead · 21/03/2013 12:37

I've heard good things about the La Roche Posay spot cream.

valiumredhead · 21/03/2013 12:37

Oil cleansing ruined my skin btw!

FrugalFashionista · 21/03/2013 18:01

La Roche Posay Effaclar. AI for healing and preventing breakouts, foaming face wash for maintenance. Done Wink

FrameyMcFrame · 21/03/2013 18:22

How did oil cleansing ruin your skin valium?

babySophieRose · 21/03/2013 22:36

Zineryt lotion, but you need prescription. It is antibiotic, have to apply it every day for 30 days and then you will have beautiful skin for a year or more.

FreshLeticia · 21/03/2013 22:42

you can buy zineryt online, is it really that good?
