Whats the best product for fading scars? I was on the mini pill Cerazette which brought me out in horrendous spots and have a few scars on my chin area. What should I use to help fade them. Bio Oil? Thanks :)

Hello there. I've recently been trying fuller's earth cream/ointment available from your local chemist, mine had to order it in. It really does take away redness and seems to be refining my skin, somehow. Also, jojoba oil or coconut oil are amazing for your skin, well worth a shot. PS if you can't get the fullers earth cream, it's other name is calcium bentonite clay and you can get it online and then mix into a paste and use it as a mask. BEst of luck

I found that they dont disappear, had them since my teenage years. So I just put a gid primer on them, not all over the face, just where needed and the apply a thin layer of mineral make up with a brush. My skin looks great!

Peels used over time can help acne scars.

I've seen a massive improvement with microdermabrasion

Retin A cream.

Time, far the scars to fade. If they fade and you are left with proper scars, a peeling treatment can help, like microdermabrasion, gylcolic, or retin a. You'll know your own skin best, but if you have a tendency to acne and/or oily skin, I wouldn't be keen on any of the oils. In a while, if the scars are bad and bothering, you could consider laser.

And progesterone-only contraception is probably a no-go for you (even the Mirena coil) in the future. Progesterone is not skin friendly at all.
