Has anyone bought these? Can you let me know how you found the sizing and material?

I am currently size 12-14. Does that translate into a medium or a large in their sizing?

Thanks x

I haven't bought a cropped cardigan, but I've recently bought other cardigans from them. I'm a 16 and the Medium fits well, not loose or tight. I'm 5'10" and the sleeves are just long enough. No problems with their merino-cashmere mix (although I haven't tried washing it yet). The cotton-silk mix I'm keeping for when it's warmer, but it's very smooth and soft.

I have just bought a couple of their cropped cardies. I?m size 10 so ordered the Small ? they fit well - sleeves are a teeny weeny bit short (I?m 5ft 10) but nothing I can?t live with, overall I was very pleased. Lovely and warm, not itchy or scratchy. I think their cropped cardies are more ?fitted? than the standard ones. I would certainly buy more of them. Haven?t washed them yet tho? reviews say they wash well.

Cor - that was my first ever post! Meant to say I reckon you'll be medium.

Levantine · 28/02/2013 17:09

Interested in this too, they look really nice

cerealqueen · 28/02/2013 18:08

I would order small and medium as I found they are generously sized.

I'm a 12 and have two of their cropped cardis in medium. They fit pretty well but I prefer the shape of the ones from Pure - they're much more 'cropped' and flattering to my shape - although they should be as they cost at least twice as much.
Woolovers' ones are slightly linger and with a shallower hem, so not so waist-cinching, I find.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 28/02/2013 18:13

Longer not linger.

Thank-you everyone. Less cinched in sounds ideal! Will give the medium a go.

I stopped buying anything from Woolovers because the quality was consistently poor, cashmere/merino mix and lambswool. I'd be interested to know if it has improved. Sizing is big - I think their target market is busty older ladies.

I like woolovers, I've got a couple of jumpers from there. I got small, and am a size 8-10. It's a touch too big, so I'd say go for the smaller size.

Quality wise BikeRunSki, I find them slightly less soft than my favourite M&S cashmere, but then that's 100% cashmere so it's not really a fair comparison. As a blend, they're plenty soft enough. They wash well and seem well put together, so maybe you were unlucky?

I will report back bike. I am a short arse so need a cropped effort. The Boden cashmere ones knackered out really easily so I am looking for the same shape but not the £££ as it was a false economy. At £17.50 I thought it worth a shot.

Have bought two of the Boden cotton ones this Spring and they are a good fit but I wasn't keen on a lot of the colours. These are nigh on half the price. Fingers crossed.
