Is red hair ageing ?

I need a complete restyle, currently have blonde hair just past shoulders used to be wavy and curly but the damage from the dye has left it nothingy.
So I am thinking a few inches off and was going to go back to mid brown to get the shine back but maybe red would be a nice change

I don't think red hair is ageing, it just depends on your natural colouring (both hair and skin). If you are a natural blonde with a shade on the warmer side then red may well look really nice but be prepared for an issue with roots (they will look grey next to red). You will also have to re-evaluate your wardrobe as some colours may not work with red hair. I have recently gone from blonde (natural mouse with highlights) to red/brown and have had to change clothes (colours), make up shades and amount used so be prepared and good luck.

Dyed red never looks real (says the one with flowing auburn tresses). I think that bright hair is ageing - people often go far too light. What is your skin colouring like? Maybe go a dark blonde (more natural). Most ageing is dry, straggly hair (says the one with dry, straggly hair).

I must book a hair cut!

Lord yes the roots are terrible. I am very grey so red is a disaster. I still keep doing it though Hmm

I'm a natural redhead but colour it now due to going grey.

My natural colour was dark red/auburn which I kept until I was in my 40s. Now I have a mixture of mid red & blonde which is more flattering. I'm gradually losing the red and keeping the blonde.
