......when I have a degree in fashion and love clothes...

Skulls and crosses, ok for Goths I suppose
Studs..as above
Animal print, loathe anything animal print and am so sick of seeing it
Glittery and sequin stuff...ok for evening
See through jumpers...thought the point of a jumper was to keep you warm
Barbour jackets, great on horsey people, but not on the high street, even worse with huge visible label
Hunter wellies...as Barbour

I know this isn't the only stuff in fashion, but it seems to be what most people wear, and I don't like it, and therefore feel I am the one who is wrong! I have felt like this about fashion for about 5 years....Sad

Ugh Principles in Debenhams is yuk.... As is Debenhams itself actually. So called designer stuff which is just trashy and cheap looking. Ha ha at styling the nation.

If I could bear the fabrics I would say Sainsbury's is just about wearable

I love all saints, hush and the Brora (sale only)
My top shop for clothes is Anthropologie in Regent street. They have a good website too. Some really interesting clothes....great sales.
other than that...have no Idea anymore...

I cn't get on with H and M either.
All looks cheap and creased to me am afraid..
have to say I prefer independant boutiques now

FrumpyPumpy · 22/02/2013 21:59

I used to like Principles. Still got some lingering in wardrobe, going strong!

MarshaBrady · 22/02/2013 22:00

I'm surprised Debenhams survives. So shabby.

orangeandlemons · 22/02/2013 22:15

...and the queues for the changing rooms in Debs stop me ever venturing in. No other shop is like this.a

I know for some reason they were the only store I could find who did shock absorber running bras. Such a mess stock piled up on racks, falling on floor. Grubby.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/02/2013 22:32

Yes - Debenhams is always filthy.

AgathaF · 23/02/2013 07:14

The Debenhams in our town is a new one yet still manages to be dirty.

Was in M&S saw some bags which were Zaraesque. But the designer had to add further embellishments Hmm which made it looked cheap. 'Less is more' - a lesson not learnt by M&S. i am looking at you Per Una. Zara bags are usually classy, often leather whereas M&S are overembellished and often plasticy. Sorry, rant over.
