Good jeans brands for pear shape <£100

I'm a pear shape, size 14. Flare or boot cut jeans look best on me although I can get away with skinnies with heels.
I've recently stabilised my weight after post children weight loss. Until recently I've been spending £20-£30oin jeans from M&S, New Look etc while i lost weight but now want to invest in some better quality ones. Not yet ready to go the whole way and start buying 7 for all mankind etc. so I'm looking for suggestions of good brands of jeans for my shape/size in the £50-£100 range as I don't know where to start!

Any suggestions?

Go to tk maxx and try loads on . I recently got a pair of Ralph Lauren and a pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans for total £60 . Admittedly skinny but there are all styles in there. I find the premium denim stays truer to shape .

I'm pear shaped too, and struggle with getting jeans to fit. Not popular on here but I find Boden ones good for not gaping at the waist. Probably just under your £50, so hopefully someone will be along with more ££ option. Avoid Gap!

I'm a similar size and shape and I get all my jeans from Esprit.

They come in different waist and leg sizes, with both odd and even numbered waists, so it's almost like they're made to measure.
I wear a 29/32 as I'm tall but with short legs! Definitely great value for money Smile

I am ridiculously pear shaped. I am currently favouring Levi's "bold" curve (marketing speak for "fat arse") in a boot cut skinny.

I'm liking the sound of Levi's Fat Arse ones. Reckon they'll be as good as bespoke on me.

Will take a look at Esprit, and good tip on TKMaxx - I always forget about them!!

Refuse to buy Boden as not forgiven Johnnie for bombarding me with inane marketing emails several years ago Grin

Levi's Fat Arse jeans seem to turn up regularly at my local TK Maxx, so worth looking out for them there too. I quite like Gap's Sexy Bootcut; they're skinny enough round the calf not to look too mumjean but still balance you out at the ankle with a 70s sort of flare.

I must say, Johnnie's new 'Scooby Doo body-discovering-in-the-undergrowth' PR tactics are a lot more attention-grabbing than the stalky 'why don't you loooooove me anymore?' emails.

Another vote for Esprit here. So great that they do inbetween sizes and there jeans and jeggings are the most flattering I've had in years. And they wash/wear well too. Their about £45/50ish but I think they're worth it.

I bought some JBrand cigarette style in sale and they are so flattering-look out on The Outnet for discounted as very ££ .

Nydj straight leg in indigo feel very soft and look good. Think I paid about £80.

Loving the ideas - gives me somewhere to start on next shopping trip rather than being aimless Smile

I bought 7FAM in TKMaxx recently for £50 and they are the best jeans I have ever worn. I am v pear shaped. They currently have lots of Tommy Hilfiger, NYDJ and MIH - all about £30.

Branleuse · 18/02/2013 21:53

i find long and lean at gap quite good for my pear shape

Nudie high Kai is a premium denim brand where a full price pair will come in just under top end of your budget - stocked by Liberty and Coggles. They have a high rise (10 inches) which might work well with your figure. The sizing is not generous - don't try what you would in m&s or Gap as they definitely don't do vanity sizes!
