Eva Fraser facial workout - anyone doing/done it?

I got the book at the start of the week and I'm doing the basic workout (which DD finds hysterically funny to watch Hmm). I don't know if I will really look 15 years younger by the end of it, but it's worth a go.

One thing I was suprised at is that Eva Fraser (who does look pretty amazing for 70 odd) does not advocate moisturiser at all. She uses a bit of vasaline and that is just about it.

So, anyone else making faces at themselves in the mirror twice a day? Anyone done it with great/rubbish results?

Have the book and the video ( yes- bought that long ago,)

TBH I found it really hard work to remember to do it enough.

I think there is something in it but my concern was how do you do the exercises relly properly with just a book- and might you make things worse if you get it wrong!

I have heard that her looks are not just down to her exercises- not sure how bona fide she is.

I use a facial toning machine instead. I think it has made a difference in the three months I've had it--I look less tired. I try and use it every day but sometimes it's every other day and it only takes about ten or fifteen minutes, sitting up in bed while listening to the radio.

I would love one of those Abraid, bit pricey the last time I looked though. And I got the book from Ebay for £1.50 so thought it would be worth a punt.

I guess if I'm getting the exercises wrong and end up looking weird I can just let the muscles sag back to normal. I can't see that it will make a permanent difference if you don't keep the exercises up.

I've got it and the intentions are good but tbh till I saw this thread I had forgotten about it! Can't remember the last time I picked it up.

What we need to do every day:

Wake up and do some yoga and meditate
Thoroughly cleanse and moisturise
Exfoliate or do a face mask 1/2 a week
Do facial exercises
Eat home cooked food all day
Go for a walk
Do some more strenuous exercise
Shower and blowdry hair
Manicure and pedicure

And what about work?? Kids??? OH?? And of course...candy crush!!

I've just bought the DVD, but haven't got going yet. I thought I'd try it for a few months at least.

I work full-time plus, so it's hard finding the time. Will hopefully get started at the weekend and report back.

Would love to hear whether or not it has worked for other people.

I'm actually finding the facial exercises thing really easy to fit in - it's just 5mins in the morning and 5mins in the evening so I do it just before I put my make up on and then just after I take it off again in the evening. I am trying to exfoliate regularly too. I was so horrified by the state of my skin after a bout of norovirus recently that it has shocked me into taking action!

I think Eva Fraser looks a bit weird, sorry - and I've also heard she's not quite what she seems.
My friend does Dr Haushka facial gymnastics and I've genuinely seen improvement - her jawline is more defined and she generally looks more 'perky.'
I've just started doing 'Facelift at your Fingertips,' which is an acupressure massage with oil - will report back if I'm transformed any time soon!

But, as you say, probably no harm trying EF's method and seeing how you get on.

There's a dvd too isn't there?

I had one years ago think it was a different person though? She even said to do them whilst driving Hmm Grin I must say they did work but I just got lazy. They improve circulation too which helps the complexion.

There are some good links on this thread

I find it easier to follow from a video than a book

@curiousmama
I have been using Eva’s facial exercises for a long time (5 years). Anything that’s hard work always pays off! Along with hydration, less sunbathing and the right diet you will definitely keep the ageing process at bay. You are what you eat, sleep and drink 😁 I’m 46 and I don’t have many wrinkles, sagging so I must be doing something right.

"sometimes it's every other day and it only takes about ten or fifteen minutes, sitting up in bed while listening to the radio."

10 or 15 minutes every day is a lot though. When I think of the other things I can't stick to like dry brushing, which would only be a few minutes.

"I think Eva Fraser looks a bit weird, sorry"

I think she looks OK but SOUNDS odd, like she can't move her face properly.
