Invisilign, anyone got one, had one or can recommend a good dentist in sw London

Thinking of ringing up a few dentists tomorrow to arrange consultations but any recommendations would be good.

How were your experiences wearing invisilign?
Pros and cons?

I've also watched a few videos on YouTube and everyone had little hooks put on their teeth for the invisilign to clip/hook on to.
Are these really noticeable?

Also when you take the invisilign out to eat do your teeth feel weird at all?

Sorry for the questions and thanks if you've replied :)

Does anyone know if you can have one level done at a time- ie upper jaw only then lower jaw? My lower jaw is quite good and I think would respond quickly- but the upper jaw might take 2 years I was told.

Bo,I think they would start the top then introduce bottom.
That's what they did with me.

Fellatio, that sounds £££ for 20 trays.
Get a second opinion.
check out 'realself' site where you can post pics of your teeth / gather info.

I'm on tray 4 of 24. Mine is costing just under £4k - dentist in central London if that works for you. I'm really happy with them. No-one has noticed or commented on them, despite the attachments. I find them a little tight when I change trays, but they are then pretty unnoticeable. The only difficulty I have is cleaning them really thoroughly, as it's hard to get the toothbrush in to them properly/without too much force. They can also only do so much if you have an overbite.

The only other downside is that - if you're me - you become obsessed with looking at other people's teeth!

fell mine was that for 52 trays - I wonder if it would be worth emailing a few places just to see the spectrum?

FellatioNels0n · 12/02/2013 05:23

Well to be fair he didn't say how many trays. He just said that there were two price bands, under 20 and over 20, and I would definitely need 20+, and
therefore I would pay the higher price. But he said it would cost the same no matter how many over 20 I had.

Are we assuming that '20 trays' means 20 top and bottom = 40?
