And the weather today, just frightful

Well I made a rushed code-fuelled purchase from My-Wardrobe today. It was flying out of stock so I couldn't even get my size. I've ended up with a medium which I think will be a bit on the large side but they aren't getting any more in stock and my mouse-finger was feeling itchy. I think it could be a good all-rounder.

I'm loving all of the white jeans links, BTW. I will definitely try the Topshop ones as they seem to tick all boxes - I think the high waist will be key. I can't be doing with the waistband digging into my mumtum.

I like that Queen, it's very like the burgundy Whistles one I bought the other week.

Ok. You are taking the blog stuff way too seriously. There was a link I looked at it that's it.

Great dress Queen. Fingers crossed it comes up small.

QueenBOObread · 11/02/2013 23:12

Ah yes I saw that one. It's a good shape, no? I really hope it comes up small as I'd hate not to get the nipped-in-waistiness.

Oh I tried, Sleep believe me but couldn't quite see anything else I fancied, so it was just the Quidco thing.

I even asked them if they could get in a Day Birger jacket for me that I'm lusting after, but very meanly they said no. Boo hiss.

They did that with the Tibi lobster too. The bastards. Had to order from NAP without a sniff of a discount.

McNally, I learned a hard lesson recently. I bought wide leg trousers for £90 and decided to wear them for travelling in last month. Early morning flight, got dressed in the dark so not to wake up dh. Got to the airport to find they were about 2 sizes too big (vanit sizing) and they were falling down!

QueenBOObread · 11/02/2013 23:19

Bastards indeed. It actually causes me pain to pay full price.

Great dress QueenBooBread
Amber v impressed with how professional looking your blog has become so quickly.

Now I have a 'wardrobe fairy' type query. On Friday in London I saw a woman wearing a fitted animal print top which had leather sleeves from elbow to wrist with zips - sounds a bit blingy as I describe it but it was just fantastic - although her svelte figure, mane of glossy hair and amazing accessories might have contributed to the overall level of fabulousness! So if any of you lovely ladies spot such a top on your internet and shopping travels please do let me know.

Ha ha novice! If you are going to make expensive mistakes then it is good to get a bit of an ego boost out of it! Probably not ideal when already at the airport though Smile

Well perhaps less fierce and a bit more love, eh?

And not much in the way of style to post from me atm as have just renovated my house so can do links to curtains and lovely light fittings but am in my faithful white stuff tunic encore une fois today.

Just wanted to pop in and say I love this thread. I won't ever be a regular contributor, but as I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about clothes and bags, it's nice to know it's a pass time of others too! I used to love W&A too and won't even begin to admit the many purchases I made based on those links
