I need my arms to be thinner, I have a tendency to get very muscley so need to be careful, but at the moment they are flabby. Any easy exercises?
What shoes can I wear when I get married in July that are not weddingy at all, I was thinking haviannas. I'm wearing a proper dress so they wont really be seen, I thought converse but my mum said no!
Magical underwear suggestions please! I've been breast feeding for 2 years I need some serious boob control they are quite big just a lot lower than I would like, I will probably still be feeding but happy to wear a proper bra for the day. My dress has a lace back so maybe clear straps won't be seen? Or are there really wonderful stick on cup things, I'm a double d. Also need something similar for belly issues, squash me in but comfy. I'm quite tall so need high ones that don't stop half way up my belly making it worse. Many thanks.

Hi

I've no idea on the arm exercises - sorry

Flip flops may be hard to walk 'nicely' in? Maybe a flip-flip with a sling back type strap? (I'm going on my own experience here & know I do a claw toe thing to hold flip flops on sometimes Blush)

Bra - this is fantastic. I bought one after seeing them recommended on here.

I'm a 34G & after 2 DC need all the support I can get & it certainly does the trick.

Last time I was fitted for (a different) strapless bra at Bravissimo, the lady recommended going down a back size & up a cup size when buying strapless as 90% of the support comes from the band of any bra, rather than the over the shoulder straps IYSWIM.

So I bought a 32H & it's a great fit.

Finally - I bought a body shaper thing in Debenhams a few years ago - it slims hips/thighs/bum/stomach & the body is really long. I've just had a look on their website & they appear to have a good selection.

I think the only way for your arms to be thinner is to lose weight all over. You can't really just lose weight from your arms. Tricep dips and bicep curls are good for toning though.
How about DM's for the wedding?

That bra looks good havinganoffday as it looks like it sits low down the back aswell so shouldnt be visible through the lace. Il investigate debenhams I hadn't thought of there, I have a drawer full of m&s failures!
I have lost weight all over dexter but that's kind of the problem I need to tone my arms but not get huge shoulders which has happened in the past with lifting things but yes maybe a simple bicep curl might work if i make sure I don't use my shoulders. I think DMs might be a bit hot for the wedding and I do want something a bit light but just not too girly I'm 5,11 so keen to avoid too much height. Thanks for your replies

I wore flat silver sandals for my wedding. Sort of gladiator style but without the bits up your legs.

IMO if you are having underwear issues with your dress you need to rethink the dress. Not helpful I know! I was a 28E at the time and knew I would only be comfy in my normal bra. So I wore it shopping and found a dress that covered it. It felt and looked good and I didn't have to think about it on the day.

Arm wise - get yourself a stretchy exercise band and you can sit and do tonig exercises, bicep curls, tricep pulls, chest pulls etc. Or sit with your arms out to the side and make circles with them backwards and forwards for a couple of mins at a time.

I agree with bonzo about accommodating good underwear. Most people never wear strapless bras etc, then the one day you want to feel amazing, you wear something that compromises on support (I was a 30g on my wedding day, and wore a dress with amazing built in corset!)

I second flat sandals too, silver a good choice if you are wearing silver jewellery. Have a pedicure too- pretty feet a must in case they are poking out from under dress! I know you say you aren't girly, but this is the one day you get to dress up properly and enjoy feeling beautiful!

Toms for the wedding? They do 'wedding' ones anyway that have sequins etc but if you aren't going to see them it won't matter which, they have loads of colours. They're very comfy and quite nice, I think. Here are the wedding ones
