Dip dyed hair-yes or no?

I think I'm in a hair rut! I go to see my hairdresser every 8 weeks- she cuts my hair and I rarely give input as I have no idea what to say. I then give her £45 and clear off.

It's shortish and brown- I stopped dyeing it when I was pg and have got put of the habit.

What's a good look for a short, glasses wearing, size 16 woman with 10 mins to do her hair in the morning? Help!

It's hard to say without seeing you but I definitely don't think dip dye is the way to go (don't you need longer hair for that anyway?). Go through some magazines and see what catches your eye then ask her if it will suit your face shape and hair type or whether she can adapt it in a way that can.

I think I may try growing it again, tbh since having my DS it looks more of a state than it used to. The last time I grew it, it looked all shaggy dog, not the flowing locks I was going for. I aslo cut my fringe last night and it kind of looks like a bob now. I was struggling to see where I was going last week! I'm a rubbish girl really- ragged nails, trousers need hemming and I hate pink. Also have round moon face. Doomed from the start Grin

dip dye really is for longer hair ... if you haven't much time, maybe something new like a sweeping fringe ( this works well when you haven't time to get to a hairdresser ) or a different colour ( red ? darker brown ? )

I have dip dyed hair. I had it with long hair and now with short (just past shoulders). I love it but it looks best with curls/waves so if you lack time then may not be for you. How about a sharp bob with longer at front than back and a fringe?

Took the plunge and saw a different hairdresser- who cut a new, bob type haircut. . Love the hair but will be going back as they charged me £355 instead of £35 Shock. Nearly had heart attack when I saw the receipt just now.
