Anyone bought anything from Wrap?

I've seen their catalogues and just got their new one. Some nice things but £££.

Has anyone bought anything from them? What's the quality like? Worth the money?

Yes i've bought quite a few things.I'd say the quality varies dramatically depending on the item.I've just bought the cashmere lace scarf in the sale -its lovely, but the cashmere dress i've also bought is fairly thin cashmere and has bobbled badly. The cotton viscose t's/tunics are good but the linen ones in summer went utterly shapeless after a few washes.I like the Alpaca jumpers as they don't itch me and are very light[and a good sale price. In summary,i really love the style but would only ever buy in the sales. One thing i really hate is that when you phone up with a query customer services are utterly useless. I have enquired about sizing of specific items and availability of returned stock in the past and usually seem to get a man who really can't be bothered to find anything out.

Their customer service is dreadful if you need to do a return. Takes ages to get the money back and you need to send it guaranteed delivery or if it gets lost then its your fault!

I queried this with them and spoke to an incredibly rude and patronising person in their customer service dept.

I agree with the other posters Too thin, dont wash well, possibly over-priced rude customer services. Some sale stuff is good tho :)

I bought a pair of jeans and they didn't fit properly and by the way she spoke to me you'd have thought it was my fault they didn't fit!!

They also do the poetry label - it might be the same company - but customer services wouldn't tell me...

I have a few things from Wrap that I bought on brandalley. A very shapeless jersey dress went to the charity shop. I have a beautiful silk tunic dress which handwashes well and a lambswool cardigan which is in good condition aft

Sorry didn't finish.. Was going to sy in good condition after many wears.

I am always surprised at the huge range in their catalogue considering its not a well known company!

Agree with everyone else. Very variable - more so than you'd be entitled to expect from the high prices. Some things look really good, and wash and last well. Some most certainly don't - eg, shapeless looking, shrink on washing, etc.

Customer service is indeed lousy - not in same league as, eg, Boden. Seem to have very little interest in customer. And never have good reductions during season, as Boden do, only sale at end, when things in my size and the colours I like are usually sold out anyway.

They are the same company as Poetry, which is also over-priced for what it is, IMO. Wrap supposed to be the younger, edgier version, I think.

I have a few pieces which have done fine and which I really like (a jersey top, a blouse, a couple of jumpers, both 100% cotton - one is a very cosy polo neck with thumb holes, which has been worn a lot recently!). I have returned the 2 cashmere items which I ordered (from different collections) as both were shockingly thin. From memory, as others have said, the returns were slow. I do like their stuff though, and will keep using them but just avoid the cashmere. I don't think I've ever paid full price for anything.
