Dh bought me a beautiful pair of ballet pump shoes for Christmas. He's bought size 40 but I'm normally on the long end of size 39 - can I buy an insole to make them fit? Would yo have any recommendations? Would I buy a size 40 insole or 39, sorry if silly question! Thanks lots

Ps I've got quite narrow feet, if this makes a difference?

You buy the insole the same size as the shoe. You could also try heel grips to make them a tad smaller.

It would probably work - providing the shoes aren't massive on you.

You need a size 40 insole if the shoes are a 40. You can get cheapie ones from a pound shop that you cut to size or leather ones that come in sizes from clarks or similar, they'll both do the same job. Smile

I hate to say this but the shoes may still slip off, given that they are pumps so don't have anything across the top of your foot. Butter experience speaking here. Get the insoles by all means but do a thorough test drive indoors before you commit!

Butter = bitter, of course!

Not in the least stylish or beautiful, but I use panty liners inside loose shoes..and full ST's in wellies to make them cosy. And they're flushable
