I'm covered in coconut oil wondering if I can have it all?.. If so, what's the best order to have these treatments? All advice gratefully received ...

I have just started looking into this kind of thing (well actually, I had a consultation for Botox and made and appointment but have chickened out!). I think Retin a would definitely be the first thing - wouldn't you want to see how well that worked before doing anything more drastic?

FWIW I have decided to do glycolic peels, use a good anti-wrinkle cream (am considering Roc wrinkle filler), wear frownies at night and sunglasses when driving, and see where I am then - I feel like it might be making a slight difference; obviously it won't be the magic fix that botox would be but it may be enough for me (I was partly put off Botox by scare stories on here, but also because the women I met at the clinic all looked really unnatural).

Thank you Venus.. I'm probably quite a bit older than you, but fully agree that less is more when it comes to some anti-ageing treatments. I think the frown Botox is enough for me, and the bare minimum of filler in my deeper lines.. I'm hoping the Retin A will improve the rest... I'm frightened that The glycolic acid will bring back the cold sores I've grown out of.. or even shingles at my age I had fillers done twice in the early 90's and it worked really well... I believe it ironed out my laughter lines even to this day.. tho it was bovine then, so I might get mad cows disease good luck with whatever you have done...

I've had botox a few times and a couple of the docs I've used have looked a shade unnatural! That said, they've never made me look like that, thank the lord. I've only had botox for the vertical frown line between my eyes and its nothing short of a miracle worker. I now save my money on creams, as they simply don't work and I put that money towards botox. I've also had fillers in my nose to mouth creases. Had it done once, about a year ago and it's still going strong. I had to take my courage in both hands for that and it did take a few weeks to settle down (not to the point where I looked strange though or anyone noticed anything).
