Want something nice for a stay in hospital. Usually use dove but want something that smells lovely so I feel good and to smell like a hospital. What would you suggest.

Someone on mn a while back linked to Palmolive Damask Rose and Musk shower gel. I found it the other day and had a sniff and it really is lovely. I haven't tried it because I don't really use shower gel myself, so I can't tell you if it lathers well, or if the scent lingers. I suspect it might, though.

M and S floral bath things give crabtree and evelyn a run for thier money, especially the iris and the rose. The rose comes in an aerosol deodorant, too, which can be surprisingly cheery if you are in hospital, since it works as an air freshener in the bathroom, too. Wink

M and S also do a really nice body cream, the Noir Neroli and Sandalwood one {[www.marksandspencer.com/Noir-Neroli-Sandalwood-Creme-200ml/dp/B001EPUVFE this]] but I do like the Crabtree and Evelyn Rose body cream.

If you're going into hospital remember to get a good lip salve: it's a small luxury that can become a necessity. Waitorse carry a really hard core one that comes in a tube and has a picture of a sheep on it.

By the way, I hope your stay is OK.

By the way, what I meant by the bathroom remark is that a quick spray of something floral or scenty can turn a hospital bathroom into something less institutional and more home-y and restful.

I don't think you can beat jo Malone as the smells linger. Get a handbag perfume and secretly spray it around you when you get an odour of hospital ;)
