I'm looking for recommendations. Personally I have a sensitive scalp, quite thick dyed hair. What do you all swear by?

Aveda Scalp Benefits when I can afford it.
Waitrose baby shampoo when I cant. Its lovely and leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh.

Another Kerastase fan here. I have very thick, wavy, died, used to look rather tired and dry. I have tried most shampoos out there from John Frieda, to Aveda to MOP and lots more. I had been using MOP for a few years and was tempted by a freebie to try Kerastase and I am honestly absolutely amazed at the difference a mere shampoo and conditioner has made. I use the curl shampoo and lait something conditioner, bought it off look fantastic. I love it!

Organix Brazilian keratin shampoo and conditioner, smells lovely and leaves my hair very soft and shiny

CuriousMama · 16/01/2013 22:45

Great thread, soaccidentprone I liked the sound of Korres so ordered some from Gorgeous. Free delivery too Smile I'll get the conditioner another time.

JumpHerWho · 16/01/2013 22:48

Timotei blonding shampoo, and Kerastase Masquintense conditioner. And coconut oil at least once a week for a few hours before washing.

I have fine, wavy highlighted (bleach) hair but lots of it - keeping it silicone free is good but I do use a serum for nights out with straighteners as a treat and have silky luscious locks. Shame I can't use every day, I'd have straw for hair.

MadameGazelle · 16/01/2013 22:48

Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner followed by Revlon two phase leave in conditioner

soaccidentprone · 17/01/2013 11:59

no worries Curious. I don't use products which contain SLS or silicone and aren't tested on animals. Korres are the best products I have found, and although they are pricey you don't need to use a lot. I have very thick dyed hair and korres almond and linseed products leave my hair feeling really soft and looking really shiny.

ethelb · 17/01/2013 12:26

aveda

CuriousMama · 17/01/2013 13:03

That's good they aren't tested on animals.

WildThong · 17/01/2013 15:45

some great suggestions, thanks - so many I haven't heard of too..

My shampoo's been dispatched Smile

nipersvest · 17/01/2013 20:58

i always use john frieda colour renew for blondes, it's purple and is meant to reduce colour fading and stop it going redish, does work on my hair.

also love the spray bottle, aussie leave in conditioner, leaves my hair really soft.

JemimaPuddle · 18/01/2013 13:02

Liz Earle Shampoo and conditioner for normal hair, I also use a little argan oil once or twice a week.

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 18/01/2013 16:55

Tigi superstar the pink bottle one and I have a sensitive scalp and eczema which has flared up badly since I ran out the other day.

PartTimeModel · 18/01/2013 17:01

Aussie. The shampoo, 3 minute intensive conditioner and spray in leave in conditioner. Brilliant.

E320 · 18/01/2013 22:37

Alterna Caviar shampoo & conditioner, although I grimace at the misspelling of "ageing" (spelled aging).

kaumana · 18/01/2013 22:39

Aussie- loving the new shine conditioner.

Deathwatchbeetle · 19/01/2013 09:51

I have sensitive scalp too. I use the Body Shop Rainforest range. They do one for colured hair. Smells nice too!

GunsAndRoses · 19/01/2013 10:14

L'oreal Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner is amazing.

AViewfromtheFridge · 19/01/2013 10:16

I have fine hair, but lots of it. Used to alway use shampoo for coloured hair but found it weighed it down and made it greasy quite quickly. Now I use the Tresemme green shampoo (clarifying, I think), followed by an intensive purple shampoo (Touch of Silver, about £3 from chemists) - highlighted hair - then Tresemme green conditioner. Works for me!

CharlieBoo · 19/01/2013 10:31

Another Aussie fan... I use miracle moist shampoo and conditioner but am going to try the new shine conditioner mentioned on here.
