Is Aveda Shampure any good?

I have fine hair which is greasy and I need to wash it every day. I would love it if I didn't have to, but it's also goes wavy and tangly when I wake up so I can't even use dry shampoo as it looks like a greasy birds nest each morning (attractive...)
I've been using tigi shampoos for years, then I tried a tigi sulphate free one which made my hair even worse. I am using DHs Aussie shampoo for now but it's not that great either for the greasiness.
I've read good things about Shampure. Has anyone had good experiences with it who has similar hair?
Also what can I do about the tangly hair in the morning? I've heard silk pillow cases can be good. Is that true?

I haven't used the Shampure but I do get really tangled hair. It's very fine and I have quite a bit of it. So a nightmare to brush, I can't have it too long.

I use Aveda Pure Abundance and it really helps. It makes the hair thicker, less tangled and is kind of drying but in a good way.

Thanks for that sound like we have quite similar hair. I'll go check that out :)

I'm a huge fan of Aveda products but Shampure has never been a big favourite of mine. I suggest you try Aveda Brilliant instead.

Shampure smells horrible - I like the chamomile one

Looked at details for brilliant vs pure abundance and think ill try the brilliant one. Fingers crossed, thanks S&B ladies :)

I didn't like the smell of Shampure and wasn't a big fan in general, although I liked being able to buy a small bottle to try it first.

I have fine hair and have used Aveda shampoo. It's good, but I've found Green People shampoo and conditioner to be much, much better. It works out less expensive too. I wash daily, use a hair dryer and colour my hair so I use their intensive repair range. DP uses the rosemary ones. All SLS etc free.

Op they are very generous with samples in my experience so go and ask and see if its any good.

Oooh I love the camomile one too (it smells like sherbert). I get Hmm looks when I buy it, I'm a brunette. Grin

We buy a bottle of Shampure (1 litre with the pump) and it'll last DH and I a year (he washes his hair daily, I do once a week)

I'm currantly on Micheal Decesare shampoo. When it's done ( also a litre bottle) I'll go back on Aveda

Can't say for myself but DMIL swears by it and has used for years.

We don't have an aveda salon near us so have ordered regular size bottles of brilliant shampoo and conditioner from lookfantastic. I will report back to let you know if it's any good!

Well it arrived today and have just washed my hair. It is very bouncy and looks very swishy! I will need to see how long the greasiness is kept at bay for!
