Changing bag that isn't a changing bag

I'm not sure that this is the best place to post this, but I was hoping someone on here might have some inspiration. I'm 32wks pregnant and looking for a bag to use when the baby's here. I can't stand all the floral/pink/cutesy/'yummy mummy'-type changing bags and am not sure whether the plainer ones (usually in the 'for dads' section which makes me cross, but that's a whole other story) are anything better than a glorified messenger bag.

So, I need a practical yet stylish bag to use as a changing bag, preferably in a plain colour (black, grey, navy, brown - I'm pretty dull!). To give you an idea of the kind of thing I like, here are two bags I own at the moment but don't want to wreck with dirty nappies (bought in sale or in USA so cheaper than here):

For those also looking, yesterday a friend showed me her mandarina duck small messenger-type bag which was in a kind of matt fabric - v light, wipeable and apparently a bargain from TK Maxx (a while ago). Something else to consider...

After trying various types and styles of bags with DD1, and not really getting on with any of them, I bought a Skip Hop pronto for DD2. Just enough space for nappies, wipes, cream. Comes with a changing mat built in & stays clipped onto the buggy most of the time. I was/am bf so didn't need much else, and then just used my own handbag as, well, a handbag

Now that DD2 is a bit older I do have to bring extra stuff, so I usually have a rucksack or beach bag type thing - but that contains all the various bits and pieces for both DDs (toys, water bottles, DD2's allergy medication etc). The changing bag is still separate and still clipped to the buggy. It's a lot simpler to grab it & head to changing room than bring the big bag and rummage through it.

Yep I use a navy Le Pliage like decameron. They are rubbery on the inside so withstand all manner of spills. Can't imagine the need to out a dirty nappy in there, though!

I am using an Animal laptop bag. Lots of pockets and sections. Practical to carry. Doesn't look like a Mummy bag - and I can use it later too as I love the design.

With previous children I have also used a Sonic the Hedgehog Console bag.

But I suspect we may have different tastes and budgets

I have a rucksack. Much easier to carry around.

Im lucky enough to have two Storksak Elizabeth's in grey and pale pink and a Sofia in Tan.

My favourite is the Sofia. It's a bit more roomy and the leather is beautifully soft. I've never had so many compliments on a bag.

I also have a Pliage but I found the length of the straps a bit limiting. If you buy a Storksak it will come with a long shoulder strap. Their stroller clips are a great accessory.

Worth getting a mini fold up change pack to go inside - it can also attach to buggy - room for a couple of nappies, wipes, nappy sacks etc.

I have this Nica bag as my handbag now - well, in orange, which they don't seem to sell anymore - and I use it as a change bag as well at the weekends. I wish I'd had it rather than my actual change bag! (It was a return to work treat). It's got plenty of separate pockets and you can fit absolutely loads in.
