Eyebrows : powder or pencil?

I have quite thick eye brows and get them 'seen too' quite regularly but just before Christmas my usual person was off sick so another girl did them for me.

She tidied them up a bit too much and has left me a bit sparse in patches that require a bit if filling in or else they look weird. I have very dark brown / black brows & pale blue skin so it is noticeable.

What can you recommend? Powder or pencil?

I dont want TOWIE drawn on brows at all, something very natural, unnoticeable.

I use the Benefit brow pencil on mine, it really is fab as it's really soft and waxy and so you can just fill in bits really easily - and it's cheaper than the product you linked to!

Powder is easier to apply IMO, but having had a 'professional' makeup job for my friend's wedding (as bridesmaid) the powder does need something to stick to - like the waxy product that you get in the Browzings. It has good reviews, I've not used it myself. You can get something from Eyes Lips Face that's very similar and also has excellent reviews but is less than £5...

I use browzings as i have dark but sparse eyebrows. I think they're really good, a lot of benefit products are a bit style over substance but browzings work very well. Use the wax first then the powder, but be sparing with both as they are quite strongly pigmented. And it lasts forever!

Powder and a small angled eyebrow brush. Gosh do a good kit, or a matt brown eye shadow works well. Go a shade lighter than your natural colour. An ashy brown usually works better than a reddish brown. MAC Concrete works well on my brown/black eyebrows.

I really like the Laura Mercier brow powder duo because the colours are really natural and I like being able to mix them. The Benefit product gets really good reviews, but in my opinion the colours are not quite so natural looking- although I have quite an awkward colouring!

The ELF site has just got a bashing from my credit card , sure it would have been rude not to take advantage of the £30 free delivery deal ;-)

I have about £80 saved up in boots points so if I'm not happy with the ELF stuff, browzings or Laura mericer it is!

I am now going to have a look through my makeup bag as I think somewhere I have a Matt dark drown eye show that may also work........
