Optifit bra

Yay my new optifit bra arrived, its on feels different back is much lower than normal bra. Hoping this is the answer to help rid me of shoulder pain from having massive norks,38 G! Must say it feels supportive enough to run in and there's not many bras I can say that about.

Do they look nice though - they don't look very flattering from the pics on the website which puts me off!

Is the back sitting horizontally in a straight line across your body?

Just watched the video on their website and it sounds like the women were probably wearing the wrong size in the first place. Would be interesting to see how it compares to the right sized bra.

TickledOnion Yes, I would too. TBH, a correctly fitting bra should prevent shoulder pain for any size of boob. A 38G is not really that huge (a 9" difference between under and across chest measurements).

It does sit lower and on me there is no tension in the straps. I have permanent indents on shoulders. It is probably the same in looks to a triumph doreen bra, but I don't wear underwired bras anyway and am used to industrial underwear!

Old thread....but Optifit bras popped up on my Facebook feed and I was looking for any reviews. Anyone bought one? I am really struggling with bras at the moment - 36HH give me doubleboobs and are rubbing under the arms, 34J too loose in the cup. A 36 band feels too loose. Any thoughts wise bra people?

I don't think Optifit is going to be the answer I'm afraid.

Which bras did you try in the 36HH and 34J? It does sound like you need a 34 band but maybe a different style/cut.

Hi, I have an elomi in the 36GG but I don't like the shape, it is tight across the front of the cups but sort of loose in the sides of the cups. I have narrow shoulders and am short waisted if that makes any difference. The best fit I have at the moment is an M&S 36HH but it's not a "good" fit, just the best of a bad lot! Currently wearing a Panache 34HH and it is rubbing like buggery under my arms. My favourite bra shape wise is a freya sports bra 36HH but it's a bit loose in the cups. Bravissimo put me in a Panache balconette in 34J but it is loose across the top of the cups, they also sold me a panache plunge sort of style but it rubs under the arms plus I feel my boobs are going to fall out of the cups. I have terrible posture and want something comfy! Thanks for any help.

Many Panache bras come up high under the arms. Have you tried any Bravissimo own brand half cups or Freya balconnettes? You may suit a balconette better than a plunge.

If Bravissimo fitted you and the bra isn't right then you can take it back and ask for a re-fit/exchange.

Hi, thanks I think I need to order a few different ones and try them on. I live in the arse end of nowhere shop-wise so not easy to get a decent fitter. I persisted with the panache ones as I thought it was just newness making them uncomfortable, and I have lost a little bit of weight hence the J cup being a bit big I think. Too late to take them back now which is a shame as they were £££.

By the way it's actually the wires rubbing under my arms - it's the point at the end of the wire that digs in, rather than the fabric IYSWIM.
