Presents for five year old girls

Last year I bought my niece some silver hunter wellies...they were a HUGE hit and she has since worn them everywhere. This year I am bereft of ideas that will maintain my reputation as the Aunty who gives good presents...aaaghhh the pressure!
Any advice from those of you with little dds welcome. Her parents aren't mad on pink (but then I'm pretty sure they hated the silver wellies too Xmas Grin )

Primark have pink or silver glittery converse-type shoes. I loved them hit wasn't sure for me 6 yo who specified 'party shoes' to FC.

Beautiful sparkly pink converse from JJB!
Gorgeous 'horse' wellies from Joules- though you may want something different this year. My girls loved the 'Doggy' joggers from Boden. Lots of nice colourful dresses in Boden sale.

Some great ideas thanks!! Off to check Boden... Did pop into Primark this morning and it was a war zone! Not sure I can face it again !!!

I wouldn't get footwear again as you run the risk of becoming pigeon holed as always buying cool footwear and that could become stressful in years to come.

A bit obvious maybe but why not buy a onesie? 5 year old almost certain to be bowled over. Her DPs may not be switched on to this trend if five year old is their oldest DC - my DCs 'educated' me on this one.

I'm not normally a massive fan of next but they have a big selection of fleecy ones for in the region of £20. When dds school did a pyjama day for children in need loads of the girls from tiny 3 year olds right through to 11 year olds were wearing them. Can't vouch for how many will still actually be in stock online but you can look at them and if not much stock ring round your local stores. To me a big plus of the next ones is they don't have feet - which would very quickly become mucky in my less than pristine house.

my dd (5.5) loves a nice dress, how about something like this not pink but tres chic!
