And I had 6 pairs of jeans in the changing room that I could squeeze into but would no way buy as they were verging on the camels hoof (iyswim).

used to be an m&s 10 - now 12/14!! - find zara sizes small & feel huge when I go in that shop!! - would never fit anything in Kookai. Haven't tried gap trousers but will give them a go. Just hope the waist isn't too loo as my flab will flab over!!

I'm 9.5 stone and 5ft 6 and easily get into gap size 6 or UK 10...
If you go for a longer age wash, the sizes are more forgiving :) So I've heard

piffle, get yer (skinny) arse over to your shoes thread - i'm on tenterhooks.

Most excellent Vanessa Feltz but surely never a REAL size 10 - I think she said she could get into Gap size 10 which I thought was a 14? I would put her at about a 16 now though (god only knows where she'd put me....)
