Oh FFS...suede boots nightmares

I bought a couple of pairs of suede boots for the first time this year. I bought a protector spray and liberally coated each pair twice. It hasnt protected them. The black pair have muddy scuffs around the toe. A suede brush hasnt budged them. The light brown pair have something splattered on them that looks like yogurt and I am scared to attack it with a wet clothpr whatever I would use on leather.

Please can some proper mums come and tell me how the eff I can properly look after these bloody boot?

Tia

I am also having the same problem with my black suede boots at the moment, so hard to keep clean. I use a suede brush which I agree doesn't work that well and I also use a slightly coloured protector spray which definitely restores them for a few days (they are black). I also got a 'suede eraser' thing from the shoe repairers along with the spray and brush so might be worth taking them there (I went to Timpson's) and see what they recommend. I think though that suede is pretty impossible to keep immaculate so I just do the best I can.

I use baby wipes, then a suede brush to bring the nap back up once it's dried. But I never use those protectors any more. They seem to make suede harder to clean.

I use protector spray once a week/fortnight (depending on wear) and before I use it I brush and use a suede eraser. And never buy suede with thin soles as the suede gets wet every single time you wear it. There is no getting away from suede being higher maintenance than leather, but I much prefer it!
