How do I avoid an unfortunate camel toe look - running kit

So my jogging bottoms are typically sort of light jersey and fairly wide legged with an elastic waist (jogging bottoms basically!). I've had my current pair for about 5 years and desperately need some new ones but everything I've tried has the camel toe issue going on. My current ones don't have this problem which is why I've had them so long. I have a big bum, big hips/thighs and a fairly small waist so it's not a question of going up a size - then I just end up with camel toe plus baggy waist. Is the problem that I have a long waist so there's a long distance from crotch (sorry Blush) to waist? If so, does anyone cater for this freakish body shape?

Fuck it. Just style it out. Men are not bothered by their bulges so why should we be?

sonjadog · 15/11/2019 18:26

Can a camel toe be styled out?

Jumbojem · 15/11/2019 18:48

My better running leggings have a diamond crotch shape, so the seam doesn't run down your front and straight between your legs. This minimises camel toe, and any potential painful chaffing from a seam in that area! I'm pretty sure when you are actually moving a camel toe won't be that visible and people really aren't going to notice.

Pant liner will solve it.

Apparently CT is caused by the cut of the leggings/ trousers too much material in the front and not enough in the back. It apparently saves material for manufacturers and makes it cheaper for them. I’d look into more expensive brands which don’t economise material in this way

How long will it last?
For optimal performance we recommend that you replace your SmoothGroove every six months.

It’s not a problem. It’s normal. ...and at the back our appearance will be bum shaped. Further up, we have hips and boobs. Being “women shaped” should not be seen as a problem.

camel toe free leggings

I have this a LOT and have come to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with me but that the crotch curve on a lot of leggings is too angular or something so it easily digs in there.

PennyNotSoWise · 16/11/2019 23:06

I had this problem with leggings, and the answer was leggings with a U shaped seam, if that makes sense.

Standard leggings tend to have the seam aligned with, umm... the crack, so it will cause unwanted bulges, whereas you won't get that with the U shaped ones.
