Is there anywhere one can fo to get unbiased advice re skin care?

Apart from here I mean.

I am after a whole new skin care regimen, (have just come to the realisation my skin needs more than the average products I've been using), and need advice but am only aware of places where certain products etc will be pushed rather than being given unbiased/non product led advice.

Does anyone know of anywhere I can go for this?

Thanks

There are independent facialists and skincare advisors. Where are you and what's your budget?
There is a lady in the Cotswolds but her name escapes me at the moment, or Anastasia Achilleos in London.

Don't know anyone up your way! Try a google search but I think you'd struggle to find a good consult for less than £150

Oh sorry, I thought you meant the products Xmas Blush and meant I wouldnt be too happy if each was in the £100's .

My friend is a dermatologist and recommends La Roche Posay to all her patients. I use it myself now, as does my teenager. The range is vast and caters for all types of skin. Their website is pretty comprehensive so might be worth having a look at.

I tend to read lots of reviews, makeup alley is good although mainly American.
Then I either buy from QVC so I can send back if I don't like it or buy sma sizes from eBay try.

What are your skincare concerns?

every one you speak to will be biased depending upon what they stock!
You probably need to do your research and find a line of product in your budget and then find someone who stocks them.
I wouldn't bother with high street products but go to a specialist skin care clinc.
What are your skin concerns?
Pigmentation? Wrinkles? etc.
Personally I think that a good SPF and some retinol are the basics of good skin care for skin over 35yrs of age.
