Is H&M sizing going even worse or am i secretly expanding??

was looking forward to my h&m clothes order coming, it got here today and everything i ordered is going back, im sz 14/16 ordered 4 different pairs of trousers to try on, 2 sz 14 and 2 sz 16 so i was sure to get into 1 of them.

not even the 16 went past my knees, i even think the 18 would be too small?
i know theyve got worse but to go up 3 dress sizes?? cant just be me and my baby weight can it?

OMG the last time I tried jeans in H&M, it was 14 and it wouldn't get past my knees. I'm pretty sure I did not gain that much not to fit in a 14!

H&m sizing is the bane of my life. Size 12 t-shirt is baggy, size 10 t-shirt is too tight but size 14 is an alright fit

I'm a 12. Except in h&m where I had to buy a size 18 jacket. Nothing else in my wardrobe is bigger than a 14.

I am so glad of this as I've just brought a 14 thinking it will be big on me and it's fits me perfect! I brought a 12 skirt that fits me! But tried a 12 pencil skirt couldn't get it to zip up. I genuinely thought I'd put on weight even thought I've been exercising! Made me feel a tad better. Spanks on tonight!

I tried on their grey, knitted hoodie. The small practically buried me - I looked like I was wearing a man's top. Tried the XS, and it was far too snug.

Just wanted to recommend these I bought in store today m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0434635002.html#Black/White/Patterned. I would never usually try on their trousers but Im actually wearing my usual size 14. Cheap and very cheerful 😄

chibi - funniest post I've read in a while.

The other day I walked out with a size 12 pair of jeans and a size 16 skirt which, if I'm honest, was even a little tight. And usually I am a smaller size in skirts due to chunky inner thighs.

It's really frustrating. I wouldn't mind so much if it was a generic, across the board 'go a size up in H&M' but its not.

If they sorted this issue out surely their sales would sky rocket - I've lost count of the amount of impulse purchases I have decided against because I know it would mean taking 3 sizes to the changing room and I can't be bothered/don't have time.

I'm a 10/12 but with big boobs. In H&M I'm a 14/16. Their sizes are loony

Love Hennes but their sizes are barmy. Always have been. Probably always will be.
